For Windows 95 and later uses, please be aware that the *.cc extension on most of my files signifies Mike's Clock Clinic and they are text files. Just save them to your hard drive and then open them with whatever word processor you are accustom to using.

I have a text file called Viewing.txt which describes how you can permanently override the Shortcut to the Microsoft Network, so that each time you open a *.mcc file you'll open it with your favorite word processor.

You should also be aware that all of the file I have on the Internet have been scanned with the latest version of Norton Anti-Virus.

The following is a list of "trade repair" advertisers.  Most of the
names here were obtained from AWCI's Horological Times, NAWCC's MART,
and The Watch and Clock Review.


My advise is anyone reading this is to find a "local" repair person and
establish a good relationship with that person.  Do NOT pick just anyone.
Ask whether or not they belong to either of the following:


AWCI (American Watchmakers-Clockmakers Institute),
BHI (British Horological Institute), or
NAWCC (National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors).


Hopefully that local person will belong to at least one (1) of the
aforementioned organizations.  This will NOT guarantee that the
person is knowledgeable or reputable but it WILL tell you that most
likely that person is a caring and serious repair person that strives to
keep well informed and apprised of the "best" techniques concerning
your restoration.

If you are ordering a Suspension Unit, then please specify the Atmos' caliber
because an Atmos II and Caliber # 519 take a longer length screwed end
(bottom clamp) and all other calibers take the shorter bottom clamp.  To
determine your Atmos' caliber, please see Atmos caliber.  You must send
in the regulating clamp and bottom clamp, otherwise there is a $50.00
surcharge ($25.00 each piece).


If you are interested in purchasing any of the above then please

and then issue a Pay Pal invoice or await your check.  You can also
E-mail for cost and availability of other Atmos parts.


I can also refill your old dead bellows for $300.00 plus shipping.


The shipping charge is $10.00 to the US,  $20.00 to Canada and $30.00 to the rest
of the world, which includes insurance.   This assumes that the shipping weight
is under 1 pound, which it is normally.


For one week shipping to the rest of the world, you may add $40.00 to the total of
the order because the $30.00 option takes about 2 weeks.

I have a procedure for removing a "dead" bellows from the old
soldered bellows cover found on the older Atmos' and it's located
at Bellows.doc or Bellows2.pdf.


If you want your soldered bellows replaced with a new bellows
as a stand alone service, then the cost is $660.00.  That includes
return shipping (in the U.S.) and you will have to remove the entire
bellows (cover and motor included) and sent it to me and reinstall
the completed bellows.  The $660.00 must be pre paid and the service
can take as long as 4 months because of slowness in the ordering
process for the new bellows.
